Annual General Meeting of Urbano I to T CHS Ltd. – A Step Towards Progress

On Sunday, 29th September 2024, Urbano I to T CHS Ltd. held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Lakeshore Clubhouse. The meeting, chaired by honourable Chairman Shri Mohan Raj, with honourable Secretary Shri Bhanja Ray and honourable Treasurer Shri Varun Soni present, was a comprehensive session that extended beyond its original timeline.

Initially scheduled for 3 PM, the AGM had to be adjourned for 30 minutes due to not meeting the quorum. It officially started at 3:30 PM and concluded after an extended session at 7:30 PM.

The outgoing Provisional Committee members presented detailed slides, passing all open points from prior meetings to the newly elected Managing Committee. Key issues addressed included the BCAM case, where legal formalities have been finalized, and the suit is expected to be filed in October.

The freeze on the society’s SBI account was another major issue discussed. The new Managing Committee has taken responsibility for resolving this, which might require traveling to Hyderabad.

Water issues were discussed in detail, with Pranay from the new Managing Committee sharing his research (Self evaluation of the issue along side taking inputs from neighbouring societies) and a tentative roadmap to engage the builder & vendors in resolving the matter.

Additionally, the maintenance default amount was published, and the new committee committed to reducing non-paying accounts to zero. The suspense account, which contains a significant amount, was also discussed, with efforts underway to bring it to closure.

The AGM was not just about administrative updates. General members of the society actively participated, offering valuable suggestions and raising important questions, all of which were duly noted. General member Shri Sachin Agarwal expressed his appreciation for the professionalism & the involvement of each committee members while presenting the slides and the way AGM was conducted, commending the detailed slide presentations and the extensive groundwork done on various issues.

While several other points were discussed, they will be included in the official Minutes of the Meeting (MoM), which will be shared by the committee once finalized.

This AGM highlighted the commitment of both the outgoing and incoming committees to improving the functioning of Urbano I to T CHS Ltd., with a clear roadmap for addressing key concerns and engaging residents in the process.
